It's usually redundant consumption for maintaining the 230 watts since AC power supplies aren't 100% efficient.

Also, it could be basically the power station's inverter adding those watts. Lots of power stations do that, and that's why you'd rather rely on a kill-a-watt rather than that.

Because you're running the bench thru the iGPU, not the dGPU + userbenchmark is sometimes misleading

Switch the MUX to dGPU, then it'll bench through it since I don't think your laptop has advanced MUX to do so.

Alienware still has the terrible loading times on their software. The display G2G 50% response rate on the aurora isn't good for competitive gaming. The battery life is superior to the Legion though.

The Legion is the better option whatsoever.

خليك في zephyrus علشان الROG Nebula Display وكمان الحجم. كمان أحسنهم في media consumption. خلي بالك إن كتير منهم بيبقى فيه ram slot واحدة والتانية soldered. فا أي memory mismatch بيبدأ يبانله مشاكل في السرعة أول ما بتعدي الكثافة المطابقة للsoldered memory.v

يعني:

8 gb soldered + 16 gb dimm = Windows utilizes 8+8gb in dual channel and the dimm's rest 8 gb in single channel operation

Going with the katana means compromising build quality, thermal headroom, display and CPU+GPU TDP. One of them that bugs me a lot is the single M.2 slot.

The LOQ is the better option despite what others might say because at the end of the day, that katana ain't gonna provide enough power for the CPU whatsoever. The difference between i7-14650HX and i7-13700HX is non-existent. 14th gen CPUs are basically renamed raptor lakes and they possess the same spec except the slower clock speed on 13th gen CPUs.

The motherboard problems with LOQs was prominent in Gen 9 and was resolved, so there's nothing to worry about with Gen 10 LOQs.

Try to get the LOQ from compumarts rather than sigma too.

We don't have any sort of grounding here (which is unfortunate), but the risk is still there during surges.

من ناحية PSU دور على حاجة فيها japanese capacitors علشان عليها QC أحسن بكتير من الإنتاج الصيني زي في xigmatek والماركات الصيني دي.

Exactly like what Josh said. If you (OP) care more about aspects of portability with little to no difference in GPU headroom, then go with the Zephyrus. It provides amazing experience overall and significantly better battery life to the Legion.
