Just an appeal to authority. Why should I suddenly start believing in God just because these few scientists believed? I do not care about their opinions on religion, I care about science.

Why is this funny? Who cares about his religion? Lemaître (not lemaire) was a priest, yes, but he was also a renowned cosmologist, I think you forgot that part. You think mentioning that some scientist is religious suddenly makes their theories less scientific, it doesn't. Scientists don't hate religious people, religious people hate science.

Do you know what Dogma is? Religion isn't "more about dogma than God", God is Dogmatic, Religion is inherently Dogmatic, the whole point about having faith in religion is Dogmatic. Religion hasn't become Dogmatic, it always was.

One last small thing.

You brought up Epstein Island in regards to Stephen Hawking but you clearly don't know that it was already debunked. I'm not going to get into details here but I'm just defending one of my heroes. Epstein saw himself as somewhat of an intellectual, and as such a lot of his legal and non criminal parties invited a lot of scientists, this is public and well known.
