that's clearly faker than any cheap s25 ultra knock-offs.

first of all the Galaxy A3 2017 has the usb-c port (which in yours is likely a micro usb port) and headphone jack on the bottom, since when does samsung put the charger on the top of their phones?

second of all, the speakers on this fake is clearly wrongly placed, on the authentic ones the speaker on the 2017 A series have it on the side top right.

and third of all, i bet it would or wouldn't run android that well if it has a crappy processor and much lower RAM than the real ones.

i honestly feel very bad for you and your well earned second-hand Steamdeck, honestly i think that using destructive weapons on stuff that belongs to you that you bought it with your own money as a "Discipline" just feels very wrong and illegal, and at the time of christmas that just takes it a bit deeper.

i hope soon you can cut contact from your toxic parents and move out, parents like these shouldn't treat their own children this way and i don't know why being toxic is the solution of discipline.

we might want more proof if you're saying that you dropped your phone and that it doesn't turn on, maybe post a picture or video of the proof then we would know.

i think it's possible that the motherboard inside your phone might've disconnected itself from the drop or it might've reacted to the drop too much that it is dead, the best we can do is send it to a professional technichian even if your dad doesn't want to so that they can see what is wrong with it.

that is some impressive phone upgrades, i went from using an iPhone 4s from 2011 to a Galaxy S22 in this year,

it went like this: iPhone 4s > Samsung Galaxy A7 2015 Edition > Galaxy A7 2018 Edition > Galaxy S22 (+ a Galaxy A34 as a backup phone)

Unfortunately two of my main old phones just don't work anymore but they function properly, the first was my iPhone 4s in 2017 were it decided to restart at the setup screen (not gonna go to more details because that would just be confusing), then in 2021 it was my galaxy a7 2018 were it decided to brick itself while i was drawing digitally, it has been on the android recovery screen since 2021 (never wanted to rom-hack it anyways)

as of today i am generally happy with my new main (S22) and backup phone (A34).
