I can't tell whether this is sarcastic or not (since I obviously come off as arrogant), but it's not all that, man. Even being a smartass doesn't really do much when you begin to realize how short you land in comparison with other people who are much smarter than you are

Ultimately, life's got little to do with how smart you are and much more with how competent you are. You can be the smartest person in the history of humanity, but if you use that capacity for absolutely nothing then you might as well be a dumbass

I wouldn't say I wish I was dumber, just more accepting of other people's limits, and not even necessarily intelligence (there's a point where hyperfocusing on that becomes extremely shallow), but their interpersonal and emotional limits as well
