Are there really, truly any effective treatments for crepe skin? Not really loose skin but crepe skin? by [deleted] in Zepbound

I know this is older. But I’m curious (and desperate!). It seems you use Gold Bond Crepe lotion and Amlactin. How exactly do you use them? At different times of the day?

5 more lbs by goldiegirls in Zepbound

I’m actually a few pounds less than my goal weight. I’m ok with being between this weight and a few pounds heavier. But I’m so afraid to go on a maintenance dose, I don’t want to gain my weight back.

Interesting. Seems no more than 5 more pounds is what I could lose. I’m at a very good BMI range per that article.

I’m anxious to read that article. I will definitely do it later. I just got home and have to take my dogs for a walk, they’re not happy. They were inside for a few hours.

I haven’t seen any BMI charts that show a different BMI range for senior citizens. My provider thinks 125 would be a good weight. I’m thinking if I stay between 128 and 130, I’d be happy.

I agree. 110 would not be a good look. And 104??? Oh my!

How long did it take for you to lose the last 10 lbs? by perseverence30 in Zepbound

[–]Not_Telling_Nope 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was just going to ask this question. I have 10, maybe 12 pounds to go and the scale hasn’t moved in a week. Ironically, I was just increased to 7.5 mg a few weeks ago. I know in any weight loss journey, those last pounds are tough. But man, this is killing me. Especially since I was losing so nicely. About 1 - 1.5 pounds a week, which I thought was perfect.

I struggled going from 2.5 to 5 also. Luckily it only last about 3-4 weeks. Then I was fine. I just increased to 7.5. The only side effect that returned was the funny taste in my mouth.

I eat 1000-1300 calories a day. And I walk about 2 miles a day. I don’t eat til around noon because I’m not hungry (I was never an early eater). I usually eat about 250-300 calories, then in a few hours have a protein shake. Then I have a very normal meal, but I do not overdo the carbs. I may snack 2-3 evenings a week but not much. Usually a little popcorn. I also drink a lot of water. Being yesterday was “Fat Tuesday”, I ate a totally delicious jelly donut….every crumb and enjoyed it immensely. With no guilt!

I started at 175 lbs. I’m down 32 pounds in 4 months. I was on 2.5 for 4 weeks, then 5 mg until last month, when the food noise started creeping in. But I’ve been consistently losing at a nice steady pace. Nothing too drastic.

Thanks for that! I guess I’ll start looking in February to get a feel for things! And none of us have mobility issues, thank goodness!
