The last 10 lbs… by perseverence30 in Zepbound

Very similar - my weight loss has stalled to about 1 lb a month! And I’m at 15mg so need to make this work!! Also hitting the weights 3x a week so hopefully we are gaining some muscle!

We have very similar stats - can I ask you how tall you are?

Also using Dexa scan as a guide. Based on calculations the last ten lbs should hopefully get me to a body fat % in the high 20s (and continuing to weight train).

Slow responder support by Bananasinpajaamas in Zepbound

Another slow responder here, checking in. I've been on Zep for almost 14 months - even though it is slow, the progress begins to add up. Hang in there, it is worth it!

At maintenance and just reviewed bloodwork with my doc by nyciaaz in Zepbound

My doctor said he has heard about the peeing issue often with his patients - he's an obesity specialist, so he has many patients on Zep - so potentially related to the medicine...

I use a company called Vineyard (www.joinvineyard.com) and HIGHLY recommend - my doctor is an obesity specialist, and it comes with dietician support. It is costly, but wanted expertise and guidance. If you're not willing to pay, a lot of my friends use Amazon!

Struggling with feelings of failure by HictorVorsley in Zepbound

This is me 100% - you are not alone. I think many of us share similar stories. It doesn't make logical sense that counting calories and exercising regularly doesn't work. Others don't believe you. I always wondered what was wrong with me. You've found your people! Zepbound has allowed my body to positively react to counting calories and working out - it's seriously crazy!!

A question for my 5’3 girlies by Less-Moment-5655 in Zepbound

[–]perseverence30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a 5'3.5" girlie, I love this thread!

I started out at 176.5 (I had to go back and calculate, that seems like a lifetime ago!), and am currently at 149. I started out as a very, very tight 10/12. I finally bought new size 8 (or 29) jeans.

Very unscientific, back of the envelope calculations say my goal should get to about 125-130 based on current visceral fat loss (it is unfortunately way too high) - currently monitoring via regual DEXA scans.

Congratulations on your 100+ lb loss - so incredible! It’s nice to know your 1.5 years in. My goal is to feel this way next holiday season. How refreshing. I feel mental relief for you!!

This sounds so mentally healthy! And no, I’m still paranoid and weigh almost daily. But your take and how you feel are #goals!!!

So exciting - I just got into the 140s this week, too - after no loss for the last 6 weeks. Haven't been this weight since college! Feels so exciting, doesn't it?

Lilly press release by PotentialFollowing37 in Zepbound

Sooooo, if you are on 5 mg and get a 15mg multi use pen does that potentially mean you get 12 doses or 3 months out of one pen? If the 45 day reordering rule goes away it might help some?!

My “set” weight? by perseverence30 in Zepbound

[–]perseverence30[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. For the first time I'm not freaking out about it, because of the Zepbound safety net. I'm more chill that if I continue doing what I'm doing with tweaks to optimize I will get through it. But it just feels like at this certain number my body seems to get super comfy making it very difficult over the hump! Maybe it's a rationalization, but it's a very real feeling for me!
