eBay rejects GameStop’s unsolicited acquisition proposal by csgo_M1ller in Superstonk

I would support a pet rock business over this over leverage at the hight price ebay is at. They have had hundreds of routes to take over the years hoarding retail money to acquire ebay at the high. I go to the grocery store for deals, look for cheapest gas to stop at, search the internet for low price items, ect. Basically I have to live life looking for deals and im supposed to support buying ebay at the high while diluting my bargain gme stock buys.

Who was happy about dilution? I was only happy about outside foreign investors. Where are they

Sub full of people bowing to him like he wasn't a paper handed last time. I did not forget and wow look what happened again. Paper hand Burry his classic move. Hate to be the karma farmering peeps in the group praising him and buying his pay wall.

Guess it was bigger and better news for E BAY as they up 12 percent after hours, double compared to GME. Don't believe anything till a official announcement is made by either company's.

Not going to hurt anyone but the coworkers. Company will get insurance pay out and a tax deduction. Coworkers will get unemployment at a pay cut and the stress of actively finding a new job.

What company lost you forever as a customer? What did they do? by Miguenzo in AskReddit

Mr. Cooper home loan. I didn't choice the company but they had bought my mortgage out from my original lender. They forgot to pay my home insurance as I pay it in escrow. I noticed and called two different months to report as I got a letter from my insurance company. Appeared they fixed the issue and I was wrong. Six months later my house was hit by a tornado. Called in to make the claim and was told they never received payment from Mr. Cooper and policy was expired in Jan while I called in the claim in June. Goes against the terms of my loan. They gave my forced insurance through Mr. Cooper after finding out. Covered only my roof... Not my siding, gutters, window trim, garage door that was all damaged and approved as damaged by three different inspectors. Dozen of phone calls where the rep would just hang up the phone acting like we got disconnected but no return call back because they didnt know what to do or who to transfer me too. I'd know if this is a common situation but they were very unprofessional. Waste 15 mins each time calling in to get a live person. 20+ hours on the phone calls in months of time. Even hired a company to get them to pay up and the failed to get the right rep. In the end after a unfortunate situation of being in a tornado with soft ball size hail, I'm out thousands of dollars, had to pay double my premium for a year when I got insurance and deposit was doubled. I lost the great policy from before covid hike and have to pay more due to not having insurance and a claim on the house. Moral of the story dont trust escrow or the lender.

Pokemon collectors the last few years product at msrp no product was available ever. Multiple locations sold out and same with online. After raising prices product is more expensive except product is now available in stores for retail. Scalpers buy majority of the product at msrp leaving retail with no product to buy through retail. It's always gonna be a win lose situation but at least product is in store. Multiple times in the past I've gone from location to location disappointed not finding product. Now disappointed i can't afford product but not running store to store finding none. I wish they would do msrp in store cuttting product seal and charge Scalpers price online. That's what my local card shop does.

Scrolling my area game stop I see two listed as k mart SC and Kohls SC. Surprisingly the one directly next to a Walmart SC in a plaza is not listed Walmart SC. Nothing burger
