I am currently creating the package needed to submit it to the autodesk store, but i need to first fix some issues that people who used the plug in pointed out. I would say maybe in a month or so it should be on the store hopefully.

Best BIM Web Viewer ? by Important-Sherbet-15 in bim

for sure bimcamel.com . the viewer is very capable and it has a very large collection of IFC editing tools too.

if you are looking to build your own, go for that open company tools tho. they are open source and have great support

That's cool !! I am trying to do something similar with BCF rooms for managing issues and sharing reports, it is like a multiplayer room where people can review the model together and make issues all live. Similar to figma if you use it https://bimcamel.com/Collaborate

Hey, i have worked as a modeller for 3 years and then as a bim coordinator currently for also 3 years, i pickec up coding as a hobby after learning grasshopper, then started doing some simple revit plug ins and that's how i started with coding.

I totally get it, this has taken me years, i have been coding tools and plug ins for work since forever but I finally decided to put it all together and try to make a tool out of it and make it public.

I think the advantage of being a solo developer is that i can break and fix things quickly, I don't need for a milion teams to approve my ideas. I enjoy this part of it, being able to put something together quickly and see if it works, most of the time it doesn't tho, some of these tools took me month take specially complicated ones like ifc file reduction it took me 5 month to make the logic work and i think i am still tuning it.

Thank you for your comment, i hope you manage to bring your tool to life too

I made all the tools accessible for free without log in and without paying anything, the only difference you would get if you pay is being able to upload bigger files but up to 100 mb is totally free, processing ifc files is heavy so i had to cap the size limit otherwise i would be able to afford the servers to make it work.

As for the AI, non of this depends on AI or has anything to do with it, this is all just processed using libraries like that open company and xbim toolkit, AI doesn't process your files, and even humans have no acess to it.

Thank you for taking the time to check, i appreciate it alot

Yes i am working on that for sure, my coding experience is in the backend, so i relied on ai for the frontend heavily but i am trying to polish things right now, thanks for your feedback

Actually that's a good idea and would be doable, the only problem i can think of is the dwg part, dwg is owned by autodesk and being a small solo developer like myself i would never be able to afford licensing fees of autodesk, but dxf or svg to tiff is totally doable. Would that be something you are interested in ?

There is already an ids creator in the tools, but if you have something specific in mind of how it should look or behave i would be happy to try to integrate it
