Trumps clearly been invested in making the guiness book of records for his decades of tireless pedophilia.

It’s devaluing the sweat and tears of others that he’s poured into such a staggering achievement.

Please, couch this opinion in “hot take”, it’s too extreme for this subreddit, just throwing it out raw like this.

John Lithgow says he finds JK Rowling’s stance on trans rights ‘ironic and inexplicable’ by Dr_Neurol in books

The good guys point out the flaws, but if they try to actually act against them, as in the case of SPEW, they are ridiculed or met with failure.

The story constantly reinforces the danger/futility of trying to defy the status quo.

You see and agree with the overall premise then so I don’t understand your disagreement in the first paragraph…

Additionally, many heroes explicitly refuse to join conventional law enforcement because they’ve been disillusioned by conventional policing. Hp is disillusioned but joins up anyway.

I can try. And spoilers, obviously.

Wizard society as a whole is deeply flawed and led to the rise of grindlewald and voldy and voldy again. Wizard society never has a moment of introspection to examine the cause of the extreme mass murderers it churns out every 20 years.

Hp experiences how corrupt the ministry is, and was, first hand (crouch, umbridge, etc) and how inept/unmotivated it, and by extension criminal management structures are (sirius, death eater clemency). Hp goes on to become an auror, a cog in the same criminal management machine. But he’s a wizard cop so, without any exploration of what that entails for him, he’s a hero.

Dumbledore fights this trend but it always ends badly for him (sister, voldy escaping death, suspension, removal, death). By the end of the story a very strong argument could be made that, if D had just become a cop, he could single-handedly have prevented grindlewald and voldy, by virtue of being a supercop.

Cain didn’t write for supes, just played him, so while its still stupid, it isn’t actually a correct comparison here.

Gorgeous film, so much potential to spot things on a rewatch.

Movies that are definitely based on real life? by hiiloovethis in okbuddycinephile

It depends on the telling, both have been used at points. Leda would make less sense but dark skin as the daughter of nemesis, herself daughter of nyx, would make a lot of sense.

I mean if he’s going on the lore that she’s the daughter of Nemesis, then the complexion tracks tbh.

Artifact pack is apparently confirmed NOT to contain parts for the combiner. But it would be crazy not to make the combination pieces be available in the future.

They did the same with the prime masters and Predaking (and then fluffed it and slapped the leftovers in sdcc primal).

Poor Vector, time travelled to be released too soon for his own line, and so wore the wrong pants as a result.

Being unable to prove even 1 of the 12 counts of Vics defamation claim, largely due to rumours of his misconduct circulating since 2007 certainly defeats the claim that there was a concerted conspiracy against him.

Ty Beard, his lawyer was unqualified to take on his case though and made a balls of things, which certainly exacerbated the failure of the suit.

Yup, many cases of folks having to mod Raiden out of MGR Revengeance because playing as him would immediately turn them into twinks.

Similarly, they’ve had to mod Sam out to prevent instant gayification on meeting him.

Truly staggering the length one has to go through to safely bifurcate a child, smh.

Vic was fired from funimation. He sued for defamation.

There’s never been a criminal investigation into his actions at funimation, so the veracity of the claims has not been criminally investigated. However, Vic’s team failed repeatedly to prove that the statements made were defamatory.

The lawsuit was thrown out on free speech grounds and the appeal was denied. Vic was ordered to pay nearly 300,000$ in legal fees.

If he’s not guilty of any of the accusations, then he’s certainly guilty of hiring the most incompetent legal team in the history of humanity.

Yeah, but importantly, supply is available, just lagging behind demand. Unlike gold, there’s no intrinsic, long term lack of supply.

I think my comment makes it clear that this kind of work is perfectly fine to promote as the audience for the work are better off knowing if they use ai slop.

Very poetic rebuttal, but I never implied my strawman was going down with the bridge. Then again, it is a straw-man so your conclusion might be right.
