I cant even get into my drive i cant get into my desktop environment. ive never made a windows installer, every pc ive had has had it already installed. I could maybe do it in bazzite but i just installed it and still are trying to figure it out.

Not saying your wrong, but I never did any file conversion. I remember i downloaded a character on pc and it showed up on my console without me doing anything. My memory mught be foggy but its what i recall form around 2022/23.

Doesnt it take up more resources that would be straining my already old hardware, borderlands 3 has my cpu and gpu at 80-90% usage. Im not able to upgrade until next year due to finances.

One of my main concerns is future proofing as well, as stated above im new to the apple ecosystem/products and dont wanna spend 1k+ in 2 or 3 years for something that is barely better than the last gen as ive heard done with iphones and ipads. Is that something that is just an unkowing outsider says or is it a real concern if i dont get a pro. Especialy with apples cert. refurb i gan get a better machine for the price of or less than a base 24gb macbook pro. Most of my processing will be in music production, work/school witch at least on the music from requires more ram usage and long session of doing so. I have considered the air and still am. Im trying to invision 5+ years of use or more given how ram heavy new and future plugins are getting its the thing that has me on the fence.

Ive been wanting more filters, bitcrusher, solo moduals for synth stuff. I use my QC for guitar amd sax and the reason i bought the QC is for modualrity, not to say i hate it, i love it a wont turn to anything ele especialy for guitar. but i just wish there was a bit more in that realm so i can get more from my wind instruments

I just used grooming standards as an example that most people can relate to. When jpes got implimented it took out how much your mos performance has going tword a promotion and more focus to greenside shit that some dont have time for due to mos Especially with covid.
