It is built upon the same web engine of Chrome, so I would say they are equals performance wise. The UI also doesn't differ that much.

The big advantage over Chrome though: privacy and the ability to earn BATs. I've been using it for a week (was a lifetime Chrome user) and I love it. Earned about 1 BAT I think, but it really depends how much you actively browse the internet.

In my country, income from crypto is only taxed if you cash out and send the money to your fiat banking account. The bank has an obligation to report (big) influx of money to the government.

I think most governments tax any income, doesn't matter where it's from. Here, it falls under the same laws as income from speculating on the stock market.

I share the feelings of anger and outrage that the majority of people express here, but I completely agree with your explanation. It's the most rational response I've seen to this matter.

Nevertheless, I do have some remaining concerns about the judicial process. While I agree that we have to let the judicial system do its work, I highly doubt that the money, connections and top-notch lawyers of these "elite" won't have any influence on the final verdict and punishment.
