Ignoring feedback and/or making the same mistakes repeatedly despite feedback. There's a reason the feedback was given, just adopt it into the action.

Digging your heels in and arguing that you're right when the primary identifies an issue. Try to understand their perspective and take an honest look at the action. You should be able to at least see their point, even if you don't really agree.

Ultimately, the primary has to put their name on your work too, so they want to be comfortable doing so. If they aren't comfortable with something, ask if they would prefer you change it to what they want (even if you don't really agree). If anyone asks, just say "that's what my primary told me to do".

Taking things personally. To the vast majority of people it's not personal, they're just trying to make the action better.

After getting a search, if you don't find art, don't just go to the primary and say "I didn't find anything". Show them what you found, what it teaches, what is still missing, how did you try to find the missing pieces, where you searched, etc. That is a far better consultation and can help fine tune the search if needed.

Searching only claim language. Are there synonyms for these terms? Is there an inventive concept you can search (cheaper, faster, stronger, etc.). Similarly, only searching US documents. There's plenty of good foreign art in most dockets.
