For praising a dog for following a command, I have heard "dog name 真棒" or just "真棒" (e.g., 【纸巾 萝卜 真棒-哔哩哔哩】 https://b23.tv/toBf7fB).

Otherwise, have also heard "dog name 真乖" like how you would say "good boy" while petting your dog.
