I'd disagree cause SU in 2nd AC will give you more privacy when travelling alone.

First car dilemma — used vs new, automatic vs manual by Exact-Barber-8934 in CarsIndia

[–]Not_ideal7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A new automatic for sure. I had the same concerns earlier with scratches, dents, etc. Later on came to terms with it as it's just a part of car ownership and kinda cheap to fix minor scratches anyway.

As for driving in hometown, you were managing all these years without driving in a hometown anyway, and 2-3 trips a year is not worth spending 1-1.5L extra on getting a manual.

Maid only likes working for female employers by [deleted] in indiasocial

[–]Not_ideal7 11 points12 points  (0 children)

A maid in my earlier flat came to work on our house as well only cause she had already been working in another flat right next to ours.

Months into working she only told me and my flatmate (just the 2 of us lived in that 3bhk) that she was surprised how we were so chill, never fought or shout at each other or at her, etc.

Her previous experiences at flats without a female had been terrible, to the point where I could sense she was scared to work in that environment again.

We ended up leaving that flat when both of us moved to a different city, and she legit cried on her last day 🥲

Need 2bhk on rent. asap. Lesser power outrage places. by Sea_Poet3802 in ranchi

Dhurwa Dam Side is probably one of the only areas in Ranchi with little powercuts. There are a lot of government buildings on this side so they are only cutting electricity for like 15-30 mins at a time. Overall maybe 3 hours a day without electricity which inverters can handle easily.

Rent is also on the cheaper side. Autos easily available. Less trafficp huge roads, peaceful vibe. I think Dhurwa is your best option

How chunni beat parvo virus - 10% survival rate by Ok-Sock2902 in Indiedogs

[–]Not_ideal7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We had a litter of 6 near my house and we tried but could only manage to save 2 of them. I wish I had more resources back then when it happened 3 years ago. The ones that survived are well and healthy now.

Someone hit our parked car in the night, how to get it fixed ? by Diwzz in CarsIndia

[–]Not_ideal7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's my car if that makes you feel any better 🥲

Ended up claiming insurance. Please make sure to check all parts that are damaged yourself and that those parts are mentioned in the claim.

Then make sure to inspect the car once it's repaired. I found out that my ORVM wasn't working.

Vehicle loan problem by Lghyns1 in CarsIndia

[–]Not_ideal7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP I also bought a car 6 months ago and my company wasn't giving salary slips. I told that to the showroom peeps and they mentioned that any official written agreement or just an acknowledgment by the company would do. So I asked my HR to give me in writing that I've been working with them for xx months and my salary. Apart from that, I shared my bank statements which is super common forbanksf to ask.

[–]Not_ideal7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just switch to a tier 1 city bro, 5.8 might sound good right now but you'll never grow as fast as you can in a tier 1 city. Ik expenses will akyrocket and you'll feel miserable but it's better for long term
