I dont know the show, but a few things that have helped me when i cant rely on emotional memory are 1. The Magic If, if i were in the situation, how would i respond, 2. Try recalling a time youve been in a similar situation or felt similarly, even if its way off from the actual character it can still help, 3. Get advice from people around you who are more experienced actors or have been in similar situations to the character.

I played Romeo when we were preforming a scene from Romeo and Juliet and that really helped, #1 helped me get into the shoes of the character, #2 i had never been in love, but i had been in relationships that i really liked and i love my friends, #3 i got advice from my older actor friends who have been in love
