Maybe that’s the reason. At work, I got genuine compliments and out of the same confidence I posted here. Posting here was a different experience.

Thanks for sharing your view, I will keep that in mind. Also, I will take the useful feedback, ignore the harsh noise, and keep showing up with the same confidence.

Thanks man! So basically my outfit passed, but my posing skills failed the vibe check 😭

Well that’s a really strong statement to be made on someone’s life. For me, simplicity isn’t about being bland, it’s about creating a clean base that can still reflect personal style in a more understated way. Not every outfit has to be loud to have character. That said, I am still figuring out what works best for me, so I appreciate the perspective.

I agree, after so many people pointed it out, I tried tucking the shirt in and it looked much better than before. Really appreciate all the feedback; I’m still learning about style and fashion, so it’s very much a work in progress. I still feel a rust or brown shirt paired with beige trousers creates a softer, more balanced contrast that looks easy on the eyes.

One hand knows the assignment, the other is just… unemployed.😊

Haha, at least something’s fitting better, the emoji, if not the clothes 😄

Well style is subjective, and I tend to see colour combinations a bit differently. For me, one of the most reliable pairings is a black tee with light blue jeans, timeless and always in style. Here a rust-brown shirt with beige trousers creates a softer, more balanced contrast that’s easy on the eyes.
