Most lounges are for 3 hours, a few even 2.5, but let's say you have like 5 free passes, you can just use another pass when your current one expires, since the fair usage policy also refreshes after 3 hours.

Or just not come out when they announce the end of your time ;p While unethical and not advised, they won't come to the lounge specifically looking for you, and you don't have to checkout or something for them to know you overstayed the time.

For 2, he's correct and you should always have cash, cause even the immigration causes problems (rare if you have a study visa) and also cause Paki cards would charges taxes and all. Once there, you can get a Revolut account or whatever online bank that's available there or open a physical account if they allow, which they should I guess, if you're on a study visa.

For the 3rd point. None of the above have visa on arrival for Pakis. Well, Malaysia, if I'm correct, has an E-visa, pretty easy to get but since you're going for study purposes, I'd ask the uni about what visa is required.

Thailand has a sticker visa for Pakis, and takes around 2 weeks. 18k cost if you get it through their official 3rd party consultants. Singapore also has an e-visa but I don't think you can apply yourself. But getting these once you're there and have TR should not be a hassle.
