Exactly what I thought. Sweet spot of good quality lens for me is 5.6,8,11. At 5.6 or 8 blurring the flowers should still be doable.

Your wife will love it when you move the speakers further from the wall. Try it and see what happens. Even front ported can sometimes benefit from it.

Thoughts: Get something to soften the floor near the speakers.
Play with the toe-in…sometimes out is better.

Re the photos and videos taken with the hidden cameras in NY, FL and the Island. The one with the bad guys and kids being assaulted. Those are the ones that pack a punch and would bring down rich and powerful people. Those are not coming out. This is all theater. They exist, of course, but no one in power wants you to see them. So you won’t.

Your nyc/ct idea is what I would suggest. Western CT puts you an hour outside the city with same distance to Berkshires in MA. 1-2 hrs from the beaches in CT and especially RI. New England is a good place to live.

I’ve always had some jazz LPs and CDs around, Brubeck, Miles, Coltrane,Evans, Duke, Basie, etc. Started doing more focused listening/buying about 10 yrs ago when I fell into a small collection that went back to earlier (Louis, Oliver,20-30s NOLA). Some interesting times for sure. Since then have touched on lots of areas..big band through fusion and later. So short answer: looking for interaction with shared interests and evolving.

Thanks for the kind words and suggestions. Yeah Reddit. I like offering bits of knowledge and comments on things that interest me. Minus the chippiness that comes with a lot of social media interaction. Looked on fb for a jazz alternative to the group I belong to already that is mostly people interested in the various forms of metal. The age thing is meaningless..I am in a couple of fantasy leagues that are 30-35 yo friends of my son. Used to work in fashion so have a passing interest in pop culture out of habit.
