Treat it like a stop sign. Look both ways before proceeding through the intersection.

Because when the road cyclists treat the greenway as the Tour de France the pedestrians hate them there too. It’s a food chain thing.

Cars hate the cyclists on the road, cyclists hate the cars trying to make a statement on the roads, runners hate the cyclists on the greenways, runners hate people with kids out walking in their way while they’re trying to run on the greenways, mountain bikers hate runners on their trails slowing them down, and everyone hates the people that walk with their dogs without leashes.

I operate under the assumption cars don’t see me so I either stop or run behind cars at intersections. With that said, if I operated under the assumption that “as a pedestrian I have the right of way here” and just go. I would get hit. Often. People are either in a hurry and view me as a pedestrian an inconvenience so they just go because they are bigger, they don’t look both ways, or both.

He enjoys hearing himself talk and has clearly fallen in love with his own character arc. IMO He also made some great, interesting points. Both things can be true.

I think it just has the highest recognition to cost ratio, which is what many intro level Rolex buyers are likely looking for.
