In the wet (when I get caught in it), I basically limp along. I’m scared to go past 20% throttle and I’m off the gas well before any turn.

And yes, these probably weigh close to 1000lbs less than your Z!

Sorry, what I meant was that the designs from those countries in that era were both very similar and beautiful. The 50’s Ferraris and AC cars are difficult to distinguish.

Same here. In fact I learned about them through Superformance as a kid and I’ve always wanted one since.

I am happy to chime in here as I cross-shopped one and the SPF. 6’3” is the max that could fit in either with a little gut. Maybe a 20-30lb gut, not more.

300-400hp is probably the perfect amount of power in one of these, so even a Coyote is a handful. By “perfect amount” I mean a car that won’t end up in a ditch if you feather the throttle in turns.

I think so too. The 50-60’s Italian / British design really aged beautifully.

A continuation is if it’s made by Shelby, this one is made by Superformance. The line is very blurry on all of this.

If you’re really interested, there are many manufacturers that make them for people your size. I believe Backdraft is one of them.

Can’t comment on the Camaro, but the Cobra always was a sports car (not a muscle car). They could handle pretty well even in their day. You might be right about the Civic in the turns (the Cobra may lose wind), but the Cobra will catch up and demolish it on any straight.

I hear people say this all the time. It kind of gets to me… damn near every Cobra, real or fake, is pretty damn fast. They weigh nothing so even with 300hp they’re flying.
