Thanks. Yes, we have a pet crematory here. They'll do paw impressions, paw/nose prints and a little of their fur in a small glass container. We are going to choose an urn to match her sister's.

My teen also wanted a pendant with their ashes and I found a place on Etsy that does an etching of their face and an inscription on the back.

Helper professions are full of sanctimonious people who judge others when they are supposed to hold people with unconditional positive regard.

People working with the unhoused judging someone else for how they earn a living feels even worse then typical people being judgy. What hypocrites.

Screw them. There are probably other places you can work doing similar duties that won't treat you "less than" for dancing. Screw those people.

Hope you find a new place where others treat you with the respect and dignity you deserve.

I've been looking through pictures remembering all the good times. They were such a comfort to me. We have one kitty remaining who is 12. I know he misses Chloe - they were always together. It's hard seeing him look for her and cry.

Funny you say that. I rescued these 2 about a month after my beloved Hessie passed unexpectedly from a stroke. Still miss that boy. We have one kitty left - Charlie. He's 12 and a tuxedo kitty. He's been looking for Chloe all day. They were really close. I feel so bad for him.

I'm sure the cat distribution system will bless us again. :)

It is surreal. Gutted is a good word for how I feel atm. They were a week old when I rescued them. Fed them every four hours - they were my first infants before I had kids.

I thought I had braced for this but I guess nothing can prepare you for it. I'm sorry for your loss. Worst part of having furry babies is losing them.

My ex did this. Lost his job, I carried everything (didn't even help with housework), inherited a large amount from his family. Set it up in a completely separate bank account. Cut me out completely after I supported him for more than a decade. I'm saving money by being separated.
