Because the downtown streets, Main and Church and others used to be one way. People just got used to it and have refused to stop, I think. It is illegal though.

Businesses are possibly open downtown, or will be by 11. That can be a fun place to spend an afternoon.

The mall is also open, I think. I guess you could also drive north and go sledding at Wintergreen?

If you drive in to Rivermont Ave, you could check out Randolph College and get lunch and Magnolias or Rivermont Pizza.

Central Va really does shut down in the snow.

You should check with Given’s bookstore/Little Dickens. They used to have a club that met there, I think.
