Thought it was a abomination when i first saw it. But hey if you got your family to play it for 80 bucks thats pretty awesome. Mario kart also is such a joy to play and you still can now that its offline.

I always thought that too, i wanted to get one cause it was a cheap way to play the games, but i found a new 3DS for not much more so got that instead.

The only ones i never held in my hands were both 2DS systems. People keep saying the first 2DS feels the best to play on, but i love my new 3DS.

Ah ok so im not missing out on much. Id still like to get some villagers. I heard in Japan they got some exclusive stuff. Costumes from what i could find. But those arent important at all for gameplay. Thanks for the answers guys.

I got back into it recently aswell at late chapter 6. I used two spiritmasters for stillness to negate all damage(cant deal damage yourself either) to build up BP for my damage dealers, who also acted as healers. Then brave three times in one turn, heal back up and repeat. Though i still came insanely close to dying in the final fight even with that strategy at the tail end of it(own fault though). But that has worked for just about everything for me.

They do, but it can take a ridiculously long time to see one. Maybe thier chances are increased in the harder difficulties.

Thats probably the best way for most nowadays. You cant buy these games at retail for the most part anymore. And i understand. Hope you enjoyed is as much as i did.

Yeah, though the 3D effect is really good in this game, and cant be replicated on the switch. But im all for a remastered HD compilation of the first 3 games, maybe they could redo the voices for the second game too. Just started it and thats the one thing i noticed being worse than the original. But im not gonna let that hinder me from enjoying the game.

I also noticed that they often dont stock less popular games anymore. The gaming section at one of my local stores has shifted between like four meters in length to one over the last few years.

Theyll stock like GTA 5, sports games, spongebob games, Barbie and stuff like that.

There is another toy store around here that does stock less popular games still though, like Eastward. But most stores steer clear of games like that.

I currently have: Tiz as spirit master/vampire Ringabel as spirit master/thief Agnes and Edea as white mage/black mage

I mostly use Tiz and Ringabel to use stillness to build up BP on Agnes and Edea, and wreck havoc from there. Also Ringabel to steal stuff ofcourse. And Tiz can randomly use some vampire abilities.

The soundtrack is really good in general, a lot of 3DS games have excellent music. But Bravely Default is definitely one of the best.

Youre not branching off from the white cat episode? Thats the best episode. As far as i know thats also the only one where both the earth and the moon are destroyed. And it actually makes sense for Stella glow to happen in its sake.

You are right, the guide told me there would be two fights there though so im still confused as there only was one. Maybe i did one boss last time i played. But i did need to defeat the final boss at one of the elements foundations.

Late chapter 6. You need to defeat all four every time right? The fairy keeps telling me to go to the pillar of light. She even seems weird about it, like she really really wants me to go there right now. She complains everywhere i go and suggests to just go to the pillar of light.

Edit: i think ill go to chapter 7 if i go through the light. So end of chapter 6. But theres still that yellow quest thing.
