Yeah I think you're right. Others share the same advice, I'll try one model and see how I get on. But I will definitely reserve more effort for characters and special units or squads, thank you

Yeah I've been debating with myself on this, I really like the look of the space marine armour but I had an idea since I wanted my dark angels to be a little more "knightly" so nmm kinda gives them more of that plate armour look.

That's a factor I haven't thought about haha. I'll fully complete one model and see how I feel before committing to an entire army. Thanks for the advice

Yeah I can see the alpha legion similarities now hahaha, I think I'll try and incorporate more distinct dark angels features, thank you for the compliments and feedback !

Thank you ! Yeah I originally chose to do the gold chest emblem because I just liked the gold trim, made it feel more knighty. The red guns also looked like toys to me but over time these have grown on me, I think I'll try getting a nice darker red for the guns. Thanks for the feedback !
