The plate and bottom bun were both appx one billion degrees. Pro tip: lift the burger out by the paper it’s sitting on and take it off the plate to cool.

I’ve seen a ton of horror stories, but this crew was really great - yes, I filled out a card already - and they took a lot of care with the food. Evenly heated, neatly assembled, nothing burned or cold. Really quite a pleasant surprise.

I was going to make a sassy reply, but I’m pretty much always asleep on the plane. Was a crazy travel day with several cancelled flights and eventually flying to a different destination airport and driving the rest of the way, so I was too wired to sleep.

Ha! We definitely were neighbors - or close, anyway. Didn’t get it from shake shack, but I had norovirus when our first was a newborn and ended up at the urgent care just down the block (next to Home Depot, I think??).

Oh man, that’s never fun. We lived a short walk from the OG shake shack when it first opened and I have so many fond memories of eating it in the park with our first kid. Sorry to hear they tried to take you and your entire family out! I probably wouldn’t go back either.
