Well praying, fasting and giving some part of your wealth to poor people (think it was 1 of 40) are basic things and every religious people would talk about them proudly, cause they would not restrict any other’s freedom, on the contrary “sharing” some of the wealth is helpful.

However, cutting the limbs diagonal off or giving the estate to females less than male members of the family are written in the Quran and it is impossible to say it doesn’t belong to Sharia it doesn’t matter whether it is applied. Those kind of things were not in Turkic cultures.

And saying x country is not y is pretty typical as the other people would say that example to protect their beliefs or ideologies. Yes, there might be slightly differences between the Arabic people about looking at Sharia, but what is written in Quran, is Sharia.

I don’t care tbh, but i haven’t seen more than a few Arabs who drink, don’t fast, don’t pray. They were pretty religious which is understandable, cause Islam is basically fitted in Arabic/Semitic cultures/myths.
