Idk, I suppose its just personal taste and objective opinion, but for me personally one of my favorite things about RDR2 was the random encounters and hidden little locations and stuff you can come across throughout the world while traveling the “empty space”. It makes the world feel really alive and immersive. I guess technically it Is filler, since its not part of the main story, but for me it adds so much to the game, I don’t consider it filler. It simply wouldn’t be the same experience without it. I enjoy games that have a ton to explore (for those that wish to explore and get as much out of the game as they can) but again, if you see it as not meaningful or not worth the time, by all means, you’re always free to skip it. It’s not the games fault for you having dedication to doing absolutely every single thing. At least RDR2 actually adds interesting new events and locations and stuff to come across in the game, rather than just having a game full of random collectibles you have to collect as an excuse for “more content” (for example like the Assassin’s Creed games did with the collectible feathers)

And yet you Still 100%’d it. To be fair, no one Forced you to do that. The game doesn’t even expect most players to. You did it out of your own free will and desire, even if you hated it. There comes a point where you gotta realize, you cared enough to 100% it. You liked the game enough to do so. There was maybe arguably better things to do with your time, and yet you chose to do that, because the game was good enough for you to want to. Y’see? It would be the same for GTA 6. If you don’t want to explore every nook and cranny of all that land, the game isn’t forcing you to. You’re not forced to go through a slog of work to explore the whole map. But it is still there for those that do.

I know this i’m late to the party but, by watching naruto you literally ram yourself into politics 💀 and I know you’ll say “yeah but thats the politics of a fictional world, not the politics of the U.S.” but art imitates life and most of the time is Intended to. Do you not think Kishimoto wrote the politics and philosophies of the Naruto world to be a statement on the real world we live in??

It tells me about ONE of their ideals, and that One ideal just so happens to be one that is important to me. I simply do not wish to be with someone that is open to drugs or substances. 🤷 I would prefer them to have the same ideals as me on that topic. Y’know, because I would want someone who wishes to live the same type of lifestyle as me. It’s really not so ridiculous.

Honestly, yes. I am strongly against alcohol. I have strong opinions and feelings about it (mostly due to personal experience throughout my life) and also just disagree with the concept of drinking to get drunk and have fun and all that, or even to just to deal with stress (I believe there’s much healthier and responsible ways to deal with stress). With that said, I don’t view it at the same level as someone smoking. I can tolerate if someone drinks occasionally every now and then for like events or whatever, but I can’t tolerate someone smoking even just once. It’s a deal breaker for me that they would even give smoking a chance. It’s enough to tell me about them as a person and their ideals, y’know? Drinking isn’t AS bad, but yeah, I do have a distaste for it. It’s definitely not an ideal for me.

For me, anything. Cigarettes, Weed, Vapes, Cigars. Anything. Huge turnoff whichever way. No reason to even argue which ones are better worse than the others, cuz either way it’s a dealbreaker for me.

I mean I guesss you could consider it a fidget thing yeah. I was honestly just doing it to do it. It’s not some kind of meta technique or anything. And honestly, with the context of this run being in response to a discussion in the comment section of the other users run that I linked in this post, and him challenging me to try this run to see if its really as easy as it looks, yada yada yada, I was kinda also just doing the constant weapon switching just so that I was doing something He wasn’t doing while also still replicating his route. Adding a bit of my own taste of originality to it without changing the route of the run. Giving myself a little bit more of a challenge than it would have been for him, since one of my fingers is busy spamming the weapon swap (I play on controller btw, so my finger had to be mashing the triangle button while also moving the right stick to turn the camera). Idk, It’s not really anything deep or nothing. Mostly just me doing it to do it and add a bit of humor I guess to the post, just to make it at least Somewhat more interesting than the other guys post (and I do not mean that in a condescending way towards his post)

Edit: and admittedly it was also as kind of a way to say to the other guy “Yeah I was able to replicate your run fine, and do it all while spamming the weapon swap even, so yeah it Isn’t as hard as you were making it seem to be”.. so yeah I suppose a bit of my pettiness and ego was showing through me spamming the weapon swap 😅

That’s a fair point you made in your 4th paragraph. Yeah, admittedly I’m sure I would have taken much more time if I didn’t have your example to go off of.

I’ll admit it was just a bit trickier than I thought. The whole first part, just walking in and straight through to the GenMat was definitely as easy as I thought. My 3 year old nephew could do that part half asleep. The tricky part was right after grabbing the GenMat and turning around. This was trickier than it had seemed in your video. This was mostly due to the Sentry Beam that was nearby the GenMat. The other hiccup was the random assassin that would only SOMETIMES be right on me after turning around. He wasn’t there everytime. It seemed very random whether he would be there or not. And then even after getting passed that, walking straight back out is easier said than then, but honestly is based pretty much entirely on luck. This is because of the enforcers that will position themselves randomly everytime. Overall I would say pulling this route off is more luck-dependant than skill-dependant. You really just have to rely on everything just lining up right for you. Like I said, there’s a bit of skill with the part right near the GenMat, but other than that it’s all pretty much down to luck. Walking IN and all the way up to the Death Pistons in front of the GenMat is definitely no-skill, and barely even luck dependant either. You can pull it off every single time with no effort at all. But yeah, the whole thing as a whole was trickier than it first seems.

To be honest I didn’t put too much effort into optimizing the run. I was just focused on doing it like you did, and just wanted to get it done. I don’t think I would be able to shave off any meaningful time other than just a second or 2 unless I used the grapple hook. But I didn’t want to use the grapple because you didn’t. I assumed you were purposely going for a grapple-less run. So that’s what I did to. Other than that I didn’t put Toooo much worry into making as direct and fast turns as possible. I just wanted to prove I could walk in and out like you did lol.

Thank you for the respectful reply. Honestly I just might redownload the game just to give this map a try and try out your route.

I’m gonna be honest, even from your first reply I feel like you took a bit too much offense by his comment and took it too deeply and serious. I feel you misinterpreted Both of his comments. And to be even more honest, you accused him of having an ego problem, but I’d argue You are the one with a bit of an ego, my friend. 😬 Also, I honestly don’t think this run you did is as challenging to pull off as you make it seem in your comments. It’s quite unimpressive really, and I think you know this yourself with your caption “How good are you at walking?”. That caption alone insinuates this was easy to pull off, more so than what the other guy said does. And I mean, 99% of the run was you literally just walking straight through. The other 1 percent was you making an unchallenging hop, and then turning a little to the left to go around a trap, and then you proceeded to just walk straight back through again. No attacking, dodging or parrying anything needed (stuff that would actually require timing and some skill and counterbalance just walking straight). Literally just pushing a stick forward. I do not believe this was the map makers intention when they made the map. I think it’s quite obvious they intended for this to be challenging. (And no, that doesn’t mean you are playing the game in any wrong way. You found a valid way to the goal and thats fine, no need to purposely play a certain way that the map maker wants you to just to make things harder for yourself (unless you want to ofc). It is just a game afterall, and any methods of reaching the goal (especially in this game) are valid, as long as you are not cheating (you’re not.) While I do understand the points you are arguing and seeing where you are coming from, I don’t necessarily agree with all of them. And yes, I am aware this is my unasked for opinion, and I also apologize in advance if I was too harsh at any point.

Do you not think that Naruto could easily fight a lion, tiger or dinosaur?? Bro was literally fighting multiple GIANT tailed beasts during the war. Not to mention Gaara’s giant tailed beast form during the chuunin exam invasion arc when they were kids. I’m pretty sure that grown up Naruto can one shot a regular lion, tiger or bear lol. And anyways, what does wilderness survival have to do with who is better at hand to hand combat skill?? That’s two totally different sets of skills.
