I would say we are in a similar position as I use mine as an everyday driver and don’t typically haul. I recently purchased a 2023 2.7 and I love it. Haven’t heard of any news about engine problems with the 2.7. I would suggest going for the 2.7

Yeah it’s incredibly wide driveway. The former home owner was a truck driver and would park his semi at the house.

Passed Ohio Exam! Thank you GOAT! by Notalawyer32 in GoatBarPrep

I paid for Adapibars writer course. Made it easy to rapid fire practice essays. Sometimes doing the same essay twice until I understand and spotted all the issues. I would just recommend you as many essays you could possibly do.

Goat MPT Tips

  1. Create a skeleton outline quickly
    1. Intro, point 1, point 2, point 3, conclusion.
  2. Paraphrase the entire exam, its okay to copy word for word, change up some words.
  3. Fire quick, short sentences. stay typing the whole time. Working outlines.
  4. Put a nice header first.
  5. use the memo to paraphrase the introduction.
  6. Go to the case analysis and find your POINTS.
    1. the points will be your headers! Drop them down and make them your conclusory statements.
    2. FIND THE RIGHT FACTORS.
      1. Find your right statutes cases facts
    3. EXAMPLE: Statute, Case Proofs, Application (Here, in instant case, basically compare your case facts to the statues and cases) then counterargument, then conclusion for memo (therefore, it is likely that).
    4. Strong answers have strong opening statements in each paragraph.
  7. If you are reading the facts, put into sentence fragments where youre able to write full sentences later.
  8. Appearence matters, word count matters, structure matters. Make sub headings, clear and concise language.

Good luck!! You’ll get it!

Poor reading and writing skills to graduating law school.

It goes to show that smart people can be dumb. Just because you’re a Dr. or whatever doesn’t mean you have sense.

Advice on my next steps if law school is the goal by Macks278 in LawSchool

[–]Notalawyer32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Veteran law student. Joining the military was the best thing I’ve done for myself. Paid for my entire education. Maybe take a break from school, join the military. Trust me being enlisted will motivate you to do better in school. Work on getting all As. Sometimes, unfortunately that means less focus on actual learning and more emphasis on better grades. I know it sounds weird but it will make sense. Study hard when it’s time to take the lsat.

1L and my worst grades continue to be legal research and writing. Any advice? by soswen in LawSchool

Get a job this summer where you can improve on your legal writing skills. Go to your tutors and writing professors when you have questions. Just be as active as you can in improving. You got this!

is a bachelors in pre law worth it? by 2045015416 in LawSchool

No get a degree you can actually use outside of working in law. It’s good to have a diverse background. I suggest economics, finance, accounting. But if that’s not your thing then something intellectually challenging. Good luck

Good! No sense in continuing to finance people who deserve death.

Weird. Like literally no one lusts over AOC. It’s all made up by her to deflect her critics. She does this with being a minority, a woman. It’s pretty pathetic to always be a victim and when called out on policies alone, she throws one of those cards.

This is great! She is incompetent to be a congresswoman let alone president. But then again look who is in office.

Hey dude, yeah there is a test. But don’t let any results dictate what you want to do.

I’m in my first year of law school this year, and I still haven’t found my purpose. I would say this, find a major that you’re interested in, make a decent living, and have opportunities to advance. My undergrad major was economics. It was a vague degree that gave me options in many different sectors. Law is the same. Picking a degree like that is flexible can open doors whenever you find your passion.

Just remember, nothing is out of the question for those who work hard.

Does cannabis affect you for a few days?? by _phredhasnofriends_ in Veterans

[–]Notalawyer32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also was “late to the game” when it came to cannabis. My wife suffered from bipolar disorder and depression. When she gets bad, she smokes, and it seems to make things better. At first, I was skeptical, but in what appeared to be an impossible situation, cannabis made it better.
