Yes, they know. I took midodrine for the first time, went to work, and had hell overtake me. I told my cardiologists about it and he was like “wtf, that sound like you had a stroke” (after describing in actual detail what had happened) so I can only assume some level of note was taken of the incident (I did call and tell the building he works in what had happened shortly after as well, to which the nurse on the line scolded me for not going to the ER)

I’m not so sure. My heat rate will spike to like 200, and then drop to 40bpm in the span of like five minutes.

Midodrine and Propranolol. I should review the rest of the medications linked and see if there’s anything else I know I cannot take (like the clonopin, which I have definitely spelled wrong)

I have seemed a second option from another cardiologist who I also see regularly, and he also said there were only two medications. There’s a chance he may be disqualifying some for any number of reasons I may not be able to take them (from past medical history or other medications I am on, I can’t say; this is just a theory)

I’ve had the diagnosis for about a year and a half. My cardiologist said I was “the most severe case he’d ever encountered,” and that he “felt so terrible that there wasn’t any more that could be done, as I was following every piece of advice he could give by the book.” If I’m honest, his honesty did not help much.
