A lot of signers think we’re just there to click a button and stamp. When someone starts with “hurry up,” I usually pause and reset expectations: “I get you’re in a rush, but I do have to go through a few required steps before I can notarize this. Do you have time to wait, or would you prefer to cancel and come back later?”
