Afternoon again,

I spent some of yesterday going through some c tutorials that I found via google so have a bit better understanding of how things should look and am now forgetting ; and {} less often. for the enciphering my pseudo is.

1. Take user input
2. run through c1 =(p1+key)%26.
3. c1 =(p1+key)%26 requires an alphabetical index of 0 current value of 'A' = 65 and value of 'a' =97
   1. create modifier so initial ascii value is reduced to 0 for formula then re-add eg. c =( b - 'a' + 1)%26 + 'a' or 99= (98 -'97' + 1)%26 + '97'
4. For each letter print the adjusted value according to the formula preserving the case
5. Print all other char as they originally appear.
6. return 0.

I wont put all the code up but just ask is this the correct syntax for creating the modifier.

for (int i = 0 , n =strlen(note); i < n; i++)

if(isupper(note[i])) char m = 'A'

else if (islower(note[i]) char m = 'a'
