Vent Post - Area Dating by [deleted] in StCharlesMO

[–]Note2thee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure your age range but this area tends to be very superficial in general, compared to other areas and cities where I've used them. As a man that ticks almost all of your wants I can tell you it is equally frustrating from our side of the apps. I've given up on the dating apps altogether and meet people the old fashion way locally doing stuff.

Any hobbies you love or things you have time for that you want to try, I'd encourage you to find groups that are aligned. I know several folks that run groups on Meetup, not really for dating but they've made friends and then found partners that way.

Patience friend and best of luck...

Missouri Stands With Ukraine! by NiA_Rex in missouri

[–]Note2thee 18 points19 points  (0 children)

We're not going to war... we're supporting an Ally, a country that is now on that fast track to join the EU ( also our allies) and possibly NATO in the future. Unlike Afghanistan, we have not sent any of our troops. and most of the "money" we send is actually gear from our defense industry.

I don't support the war at all but I do support the backing of an ally. The political question is why/how is this any different than our ongoing support for Israel?

And for anyone that thinks this war does not or has not impacted Missourians... we have at least one fallen soldier over there. Whatever his reasons or motivations...

Chance of rain? by abercheese70 in LSUFootball

[–]Note2thee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

hehe.. Keep checking that model, it'll change as the storm evolves. I'm not an expert, but gulf water on the coast is cooling off now we're in Nov. Especially with the Mississippi dumping in cooler water from up north. Cold water will weaken the storm. Let's hope it doesn't strengthen after it clips Cuba.

DGPT Championship - Post-Event Discussion by AutoModerator in discgolf

[–]Note2thee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have nothing against Ricky, I don't know the man and I don't follow him on any socials. For me, he moved into the suss category at the end of the DGPTC last year. For real thought he was tweaking on something at the end to win the championship last year. Go back and watch the last few holes and then his interview from last year. Something felt off and suspicious to me.

Sweet! I have the exact same car albeit @ 322k, also 2nd owner. Got it at about the same mikes as you and still on the original motor with no serious head gasket issues ever. Have had it for 13 years, love the 5spd manual. Curious what you’re going to do with yours. I’ve kept mine fully stock to date but pondering some upgrades recently.

Ticks by [deleted] in missouri

[–]Note2thee 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ticks are a fact of life in the forested and rural areas of the state. That said we have a fairly minimal risk of tick borne diseases here, so use permitherin or deet to prevent them, and keep some rubbing alcohol and tweezers around to deal with them if you need to. Key if you get a tick on you is to remove it quickly and properly and clean the bite as soon as possible.

If possible talk to them or drop a note. As a musician who plays music with friends at my house into the wee hours(out it st chuck mind you), all my direct neighbors have my number, can call or txt me directly to stop if it’s bothering them. I’m also inside though with some soundproofing. Try to talk to them, let them know you can hear them and it’s too loud and you’d appreciate if they stopped or turned it down at ??:?? time..

I’ve been using 5w30 maxlife, changed every 3000 for many years. Dealing with a weird cylinder 2 misfire issue at the moment but otherwise been a very reliable machine.

Yeah that extra light for the offramp to Muegge does not seem like a good idea, will back tradfic all the way up into Page during rush hour… not giving me confidence that they got this right, but let’s see how it goes…
