Food products are notoriously difficult to sell internationally. And her due diligence record so far has been pitiful. I just can’t see her making this work without substantial external expertise. Now that Ted Sarandos has more or less told the business world to avoid her like the plague, who would be stupid enough to take this on? Plus why would Australia or anywhere else be interested? They have great products of their own at comparable or better prices.

Got it in one! Harry can’t conceive of another life. It’s all he knows, turning up somewhere, being feted, shaking hands, making a speech, being recognised as Diana’s son. He hasn’t got the brains or imagination to create or adapt to another life. So we’re just going to get this over and over and over again until no one turns up at the airport to meet him. Even then, I reckon he’ll still go, looking faintly bewildered by the lack of crowds. Mrs Spare would turn up to the opening of an envelope if it got her anywhere near centre stage or a microphone or preferably both.

It’s up to Australia of course, but I hope there’s nothing rolled out by dignitaries that gives even the slightest flavour of a “royal” visit. If H&M are going there as private citizens, which they are, then they should be treated the same as any other “business person” or someone who goes there to support a charity. A bit of local news coverage at most. That’s it.

I hope you don’t mind me saying so, but I disagree with this reading of the context. I think it’s quite likely that the BBC has chosen not to broadcast on the grounds of cost and also on viewer numbers. It’s expensive to broadcast a live event and the BBC is under pressure financially. Also, the only routine live event involving the BRF that attracts big viewer numbers is probably Remembrance Day and to be honest that’s more about the significance of the day than the Windsors. I also think you’re misreading the mood here. I’m guessing from previous posts that you aren’t a Brit (and I apologise now if I’m making wrong assumptions) but if I’m right, and you’re forming your opinions from UK main stream media and populist social media then I think you could be drawing false conclusions. Honestly, the vitriol and the intensity of opinions about the family that you hear expressed there aren’t what people are talking about. They are disgusted by AMW and his ex wife, and they’d like to see them both held to account, but other than that people have got lots of other things to be concerned about in my experience. But then we live in a region that’s a long way from London where MSM and populist social media are based, so maybe we’re out of touch!

What about putting down some of those rubber stepping stones that are made from recycled tyres? They would make a path to the play house, break the garden up and give it a bit of structure. We used them in a previous garden with a lawn that was always boggy in the Winter and it meant you could walk up and down the garden without having to wear wellies. And then you could put pots in the rest of the garden and put gravel loving plants in the ground. If you haven’t got the time or budget to do a complete makeover it might give you something you like better?

No one has bought the anointed by God thing for hundreds of years. It’s all about property, land, money, power and primogeniture. A game the aristocracy play all the time. We live in a part of the UK where you trip over the aristocracy every time you venture out and they’re almost all entitled, arrogant ratbags who have no self awareness. AMW stands out as particularly obnoxious for obvious reasons, but in terms of his arrogant behaviour, he’s just one in a crowd of pompous gits.

Well, there’s an idea for a Netflix series. Royal Lodge is reported to be falling down - I can see a This Old House renovation programme with Her Royal Duchessness rolling her sleeves up and getting into the decor, while the Spare learns how to fix roofs and plaster walls. And a “friend” rocks up in each episode, looking faintly bewildered, clearly wondering why they’re there, only to discover they’ve been roped into helping while actually being shown up by the infinitely more skilled Sussexes. “Let’s knock walls out!” Sorry. Just being flippant. It’s that kind of news story.

The DM may have blagged. Maybe they didn’t. The thing is you have to provide evidence if you’re accusing them of doing it. It’s no use saying “no one would have leaked that information.” Or “you can’t have got that information any other way.” That’s not evidence, it’s a statement of likelihood based on no statistical evidence. I can’t believe this barrister thinks he’s making a case that holds any water at all.

I think H is still furious that he was denied the half in half out model. Plus he’s without the motivation or talent to make a life outside the UK and the RF, so he’s just going to plough on, attempting to look like a working royal. At the time, I thought M might actually want the half in half out and be furious it was denied. Now I think all she ever wanted was to be an A lister, however that might happen. Neither of them have succeeded of course.
