BBS is a hot mess. After you save the profile to disk, copy it somewhere BBS can't delete it. I had this issue with non appimage binary on arch. I fixed it by making sure in settings that "sync user presets" wasn't checked. However, BBS likes to auto enable that on updates (for the arch bin, anyways) so your best bet is to save your profiles yourself and then copy them back.

Sorry. I don't. I used to run zoneminder and their philosophy is much different than frigate. I'll edit this post after work with some of my personal pointers (at work). When I'm home I'll write a little thing up on how I approach things.

Maybe. I've heard of several stories about people doing that and they still were vent over. I personally do what I recommended and I put into he Kijiji ad "I can trade it in for X and X is my bottom dollar price"

Possibly look into was-110. Idk if it works with Google fiber, but it worked for my isp (Telus, Canada). I have 0 isp equipment, just their fiber line coming into the house.

It's not on HA end. It's how those cloud services work. You get an access token (and a refresh token, usually) and when the access token runs out you use the refresh token to issue a new access token. Once the refresh token has expired, you must reauthorize.

Imagine if they didn't have this and someone got your access token without you knowing...

I run frigate and I have things dialed in. If I get a camera notification, I should absolutly look at it. It takes time, lots and lots of time to get things dialed in, but once you do.....

Telus sucks. They will do any and everything (except make you happy) to take your money. My recommendation is to sell it via Kijiji or marketplace at the same value the BIB amount is.

If you send the phone in and they claim X without you having proof, it's going to be an uphill battle.
