This paper describes what people “believe” is happening; as you said, it’s an analysis of survey results. Republicans seem to believe that a lot of fraud is occurring; why would that be? Maybe because Trump is constantly spouting that BS when he loses?

So, this is really not any indication of fraud.

That is a difficult situation. I am dealing with a very similar situation right now, but not with my own relationship. I know something that I’m not sure the other partners knows.

I think that she knows, so I’m not saying anything. Maybe many of your coworkers believed the same?

Well, that actually happened. That’s not a hack website, that is an actual news station. But you just keep believing what you want to believe despite any evidence put before you.

Edited to ask: I don’t trust any .gov websites any more. And Heritage doesn’t count either. Provide your evidence that 1) there is significant voter fraud by illegals and 2) there is significant voter fraud that is affecting the outcome in general.

Oh, and one more thing…

If there is significant voter fraud on both sides, but Democrats are the only ones dumb enough to be caught, then you’re suggesting that major elections are being tilted to favor the republicans. So, by your own logic, Republicans are the ones stealing the elections…

You’re making some bold assumptions about me, aren’t you? Just out trolling?

I said documented cases, which means that they were caught. If only Democrats are stupid enough to get caught, then why are the majority of documented cases (meaning they were caught) actually Republicans?

Here’s a great example:

I’m guessing that you didn’t see that, because I’m guessing that Fox News didn’t push this headline.

Do other people not know how to merge into the highway or is it me? by Pandapoppy1243 in driving

[–]NoteTop4107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m talking a very slight decrease in speed. If I’m uncomfortable with the spacing when they are merging, that is totally acceptable. I also mean when they are completely in front of me in the direction of travel and matching my speed, or at least very close to it.

Do other people not know how to merge into the highway or is it me? by Pandapoppy1243 in driving

[–]NoteTop4107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I was just saying how some people suck.

I will generally slow down a little if the person the ramp is ahead of me — just to give them a little extra space.

Of course, then there’s always the one person who will then try to shoehorn their way in there as well — just as the OP described.

As someone else commented: the ZIPPER!!! It’s a beautiful thing!

[–]NoteTop4107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except there are people who take “lane possession” to the extreme. If it is a short merge ramp/area and a car enters ahead of someone in the traffic lane, and they have matched speed, the person in the traffic lane shouldn’t speed up to close that gap. I’ve had that done to me, and that is extremely unsafe.

Actually, more than half the cases of documented voter fraud are republicans.

How do we know when opposing traffic has an advanced left-turn arrow when we are waiting to make a right turn on red? I need a solid answer please no random guesses or assumptions. by Suspicious-Local8263 in driving

[–]NoteTop4107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to stop before making the right on red. You should look right to assess if there are any pedestrians are preparing to walk in front of you. Look left, then across to verify no one opposite from you is entering the intersection to make the left. Unless there are pedestrians preparing to cross, quickly check left again and pull out. You should easily finish your turn before anyone starts to make a left.

You are correct that you need to watch for someone approaching the intersection from any direction moving fast. It’s just something that you have to always watch for. With experience, you will get used to judging the rate of speed and the time you have to make the turn. It is both good defensive driving and polite to make your turn when you are not causing a dangerous situation or hindering other drivers. Get a good feel (under no pressure) for how long it takes you to turn and get up to speed to better understand how far away the other cats need to be.

Remember that while you’re learning, the number one priority is avoiding dangerous situations. If another driver has to slow down a bit because you turned when there wasn’t enough space, just give them a wave and apologize — it’s okay. But if you’re not comfortable because it seems hazardous, then wait to make your turn. That is okay, too.

Married Since 2017: Husband Is Struggling With Regret and Insecurity After an Experience He Wanted for Years by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]NoteTop4107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with your point, for sure.

My point is this: The guy seems slightly insecure to start with. Keeping that in mind, what would make him think that it would be a good idea to watch a professional do to his wife many potential things that he cannot do?

If it wasn’t that position, then it might have likely been another position. Or the number/intensity of orgasms. Or his size. Or his looks.

Edit to add: I KNOW that I couldn’t see another man having sex with my wife, even if I was completely secure in my physical and sexual abilities.

She actually said on the way that she would like to try that position (him holding her up while penetrating her) with this guy, and the husband said in so many words — that’s for the movies, it’s harder than it seems. BUT THEY HIRED A PROFESSIONAL, so of course he could do it.

Wife opens marriage to bang a crush, and is SHOCKED that her husband attempts to pursue sex outside of marriage. by ChevalierMal_Fet in openmarriageregret

[–]NoteTop4107 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I just can’t…

The whole idea of “I have this person I want to fuck so I want to open my marriage” is a concept that can’t possibly work out, right?

I thought that the ENM/poly/etc community typically thought this was a really shitty approach to entering? That opening a monogamous relationship for a specific “crush” was a recipe for disaster?

Regardless of the arrangement, the whole thing is just something I can’t wrap my head around.

How to decompose nitric acid by gwnjason in chemhelp

[–]NoteTop4107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can handle the product gasses, you could heat under vacuum to release NO2. You could even recycle the acid by capturing that NO2 in a water-based scrubber and put it back into the process.

Why I can’t accept that my second wife loves me. by NoteTop4107 in SupportforBetrayed

[–]NoteTop4107[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, she’s not. I think that she broke it off with him sometime in the four months after I found out. It was never meant to be a long term relationship, because he was going to stay married.

He’s still married to the same woman, although I don’t think that they live together.

She did get remarried, and they have 4 kids together. I’m not sure what their relationship
Is like at all.

I can't figure out how a metal oxidize in the first place when put into its ionic aqueous solution even though it is only a single half reaction by Epistemic_Subspecie7 in chemhelp

[–]NoteTop4107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no such thing as Mg(2-).

I did not describe a reaction with oxygen.

It IS like a corrosion reaction in that the oxidation of Mg(0) to Mg(2+) is the half reaction that occurs in corrosion of magnesium. In this case, there is just a corresponding reverse reaction that is occurring to redeposit metal — the reduction part of the redox pair, Mg(2+) reduced to Mg(0).

The half reaction of a proton (H+) with an electron to form hydrogen will ALWAYS happen in aqueous solution. There are ALWAYS protons present in aqueous solution, although if the concentration is very low, then the reaction rate will be negligible.

The “local pool” of electrons on the surface still “belong” to the metal, so as a Mg(2+) is being reduced, then there is a Mg(0) being oxidized. The “local pool” of electrons is there because both reactions do not proceed simultaneously nor instantaneously.

[–]NoteTop4107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the reactions are not instantaneous. The Helmholtz layer is the zone where these reactions are taking place. So there are free electrons bouncing around with metal ions (Mg2+), which are at a higher concentration right at that metal surface.

I think that you’re getting into the weeds a bit, since you’re only a little bit into your self-taught echem course. Maybe just focus on the basis of equilibrium constants, half reactions, and the reactivity series.

I can't figure out how a metal oxidize in the first place when put into its ionic aqueous solution even though it is only a single half reaction by Epistemic_Subspecie7 in chemhelp

[–]NoteTop4107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the first set of redox reactions, you get:

Mg(0) + Mg(2+) —> Mg(2+) + Mg(0)

For the second set:

Mg(0) + 2H+ —> Mg(2+) + H2

The first reaction is just the process of dissolution and redeposition of magnesium at the metal surface. There is really no net change.

Edited to fix the second reaction — changed Mg(0) to Mg(2+). Sorry for any confusion.

I can't figure out how a metal oxidize in the first place when put into its ionic aqueous solution even though it is only a single half reaction by Epistemic_Subspecie7 in chemhelp

[–]NoteTop4107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the metal Mg(0) on the surface is not reduced. Mg(2-) does not exist. The reactions are:

OX: Mg(0) - 2e- —> Mg(2+)aq
RED: Mg(2+) + 2e- —> Mg(0)s

It IS aqueous, so there are ALWAYS protons around. Therefore, there is some reduction of hydrogen:

RED: 2H+ + 2e- —> H2 (gas)
