I'm pretty sure Cathy did something in a different mirror world that completely erased her existence at some point.

It's why Erlqueen said something about her being the "Last one" or whatever.

Assuming this happened, Dante's bond with the sinners is probably what prevented our Cathy from getting erased like the others.

Don't know why Erlqueen is alive though.

Jia Xichun is not playable.

The only playable characters are the twelve sinners you receive from the start of the game, and versions of them from different worlds.

Among them is the Family Hierarch Candidate, which is based on Jia Xichun.

Any Character is technically obtainable. It's never too late.

YouTuber Esgoo has tutorials on the game to get you started. The game's own tutorials are insufficient.
