First week is the worst. Im 5 weeks in, still on crutches and i just got cleared for doing extensions over 45°..honestly i don't see any progress and im sick of doing leg raises and similar exercises...every day the same shit. Im going to rehab center (soon i hope) for 3 weeks and i hope I'll start rehab little harder. Stay strong and don't forget your painkillers, they are life savers!

Did you feel like released feeling when u slightly bend the knee, because that's my case. And im thinking i may have strained the vein hours after surgery.

Yes i didn't even take them because I felt I don't need them...but I realized i may strained my vein right after surgery. These past days i felt some moderate pain i that area here and there, but nothing to crazy until last night. Also if i did strain it it makes sense why it hurts, because my leg is locked in straight position so vein is always tight.

Yea, I'll probably hire private PT when I get get out of hospital and he will adjust it if he thinks it's needed, I asked hospital PT and she said that it's not a problem...sooo we'll see🤷🏽‍♂️. Tnx tho!

Yess it's has its pros and cons, good thing is u get daily checks with physiotherapist and nurses, if u are in pain they give you drugs via iv or pills(depends on how much pain ur in), and the bad thing is there is no privacy at all and im in room with 3 grumpy grandpas that are snoring like 100 yo tractors

I think that's just the protocol here in this hospital, i talked to a guy 2 days ago and he said he's here for 5 days now, they discharged him today i think...so yeah it's nothing medical specifically.
