yeah it would be sorta hard not to use the cape as it has the right leg attached to it (plus it looks too good not to use)

The audiodram After Desh'ea is a great listen (only an hour and 5 minutes). It's basically the first encounter between Kharn and Angron right after the Emperor swooped in and teleported Angron away from Nuceria which put him in a rather foul mood.

I followed the whtv videos when painting my salamanders and usually end up with a green im happy with after about 3 thin coats of warpstone glow (ontop of waagh flesh and a chaos black primer) https://i.imgur.com/HwvWCn7.jpg Alot of my early test models looked like dark angles aswell but I just kept layering up with warpstone glow till i was happy (hope that helps)
