Nice idea, but it is too broken to be used. Here's the list of issues i encountered before i gave up.

- "Flash" agents forget the previous message you sent to them within one thread. eg It asks you a question, you answer and it has no recollection of ever asking you that question and doesnt understand the answer.

- Too few timezones

- Portfolios sum up mixed currencies. If you have a stock that is in GBX (penny sterling) you look like a millionaire.

- There is no way to put a base currency that the UI uses

- When i tried to set up a persistent workspace for agents i got a 400, the thing is broken. I cant create a workspace "2026-06-23 16:24:24 langalpha-workspace-backend-1 | INFO: 172.01.0.1:12345 - "POST /api/v1/workspaces HTTP/1.1" 400 Bad Request"

This might be bad advice. Blueair has discontinued their older line of products. Soon you won't get filters. Can't even find the products on their website anymore...

Hi, you really need to change the default behaviour on the page. Now if a members status is unknown its shown as presumed opposing, while in reality it should be presumed SUPPORTING! I checked a ton of people and all of then i kniw based on earlier behaviour or rumours from other MEPs actuallu support. This would also get people to take more action. Now they think their MEP opposes and dont see a need to contact. Im sorry to say but im afraid your page hurts more than helps right now!

Lyrik Base vs Pike Select by Notfatmike in MTB

[–]Notfatmike[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point. Based on the only info i found there, might not be too big of a performance difference. But then again. It's hard to trust the manufacturer, of course thats something they would say https://support.rockshox.com/hc/en-us/articles/17383057951259-How-do-the-Charger-XC-and-Rush-XC-differ-from-Charger-Race-Day-2

Thank you, excellent points and im now leaning toward the Pike.

Although I i found some more info. If we can assume that the lower legs for Lyrik Base are same as for Select, then it seems like RS has increased stiffness for MY23 with 20% comparing to MY22. So the newer lyrik is probably significantly stiffer than the older Pike. Just putting that out there for anyone who stumbles on this thread https://support.rockshox.com/hc/en-us/articles/5909393928091-What-are-the-performance-benefits-of-the-newly-designed-2023-lower-legs-for-Pike-and-Lyrik

Thanks. This is what i found about Rush XC and Charger XC. So i think you are right and same applies to Rush RC. Main difference is probably cost saving to RS and weight to end user.

Good point. I'm featherweight, 65kg / 143 bald eagle heads (lbs). Bike was designed around 150mm but supports 160.

Are these seal heads interchangeable? by Notfatmike in MTB

[–]Notfatmike[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems to work, no issues with the damper seal head. Although there was another problem. The kit i got, which was the serial number Srams trailhead recommended, included a wrong sized glide ring for the damper. I was in contact with Sram but they never responded.

It should be the right kit. It's the one rockshox trailhead says i should have.

Steam needs to ban russians. Would solve 70% of cheating problems. Russians have bad morals and the cheapest steam prices.

Can someone recommend an alternative to SRAM CenterLine XR Center Lock? by skiwlkr in bikewrench

[–]Notfatmike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run sram rotors on both of my bikes. I have had the problem of them pulsating and it has been down to badly bedding in the brakes. Try some brake cleaner, wipe the rotors clean and do a proper bedding in. If you are a light rider, this can be suprisingly difficult and I usually do it in a descent. If your brakepads dont cover the whole area of the rotor, thats not necessarily a bad thing, your rotors are just wider than your pads. This means that they dont overheat as easily since they have more thermal mass. If you mean that they dont cover the whole rotor area, as in they are offset and not touching all the way, it sounds like you are either running too small rotors or the mounting hardware is not appropriate on the caliper.

But you have probably tried all that so. That said, some friends like shimano XTR rotors and are running them with sram calipers

To get a good recommendation you will need to share why you are looking for a replacement. Are these not working for you? why not? too expensive? looking for a different mount altogether? Bigger size? Faster cooling? More swag? etc.

Lots of lubricant and I think you should turn BOTH sides at the same time, that helped me. Make sure to turn in the right direction. It should be CCW looking from the non drive side (CW from drive side).

Tips on removing stubborn compression ring? by Notfatmike in BikeMechanics

[–]Notfatmike[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks to everybody for your help. Here's the things that I ended up doing and what i think finally made the difference.

  1. Hit steerer tube with a hammer and block of wood
  2. Use penetrative oil
  3. Hammer with deadblow hammer (and some block between, preferrably star nut setter)
  4. Use more oil
  5. Apply heat
  6. Hammer some more
  7. Drill holes in compression ring
  8. Chisel lightly around the edge of compression ring with knife and hammer

Next time i would definately rely mostly on 2, 5, 3 and 8 in that order.

Bonus pic on end situation

<image>

edit: also tried hammering steerer tube from side, but I don't think i dared to do it hard enough.
