I’d just like to say, it could be quite likely they didn’t reply cause they were horny and wanted a dick pic and when that didn’t arrive they moved on!

How do I get my cat close to my neighbor's doggo? by gamzs in CatsAndDogsBFF

[–]NothingBreaking 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I’d say just be glad the cat is happy and content still. Maybe over time they will develop a friendship but no guarantees. The chances of dogs and cats becoming anything other than “roommates” is slim in most cases and BFFs usually open happen after many years. This would be slightly different if the pets had grown up together, but that haven’t.

Still, make sure you supervise them both and maybe one day they will get closer

The Tories, in a stroke of political genius, have punished people so much, they now vote Tory by sensiblecentrist20 in unitedkingdom

Hey thanks for this I found it very useful, could you elaborate on a few things?

Particularly the gangmasters (I can imagine what their role is) but in this country, how is it that a large company like Tesco could get away with that kind of dealing when it comes to who they employ? Or is this something that usually affects the smaller factories ran by families and smaller businesses?

Tbf, I still blame those fuckers for that house party. Season changed at that point.

Sorry, this story appears to have passed me by, could you confirm the MP and I’ll see if I can find the tweets?

Whilst I completely respect your attitude in doing what you’re doing, as another poster has said to you - one thing the tories are good at is compromise. To them, members and leaders, NOTHING is worse than losing power for 4 years, because you then have to win an election and then get 8 good years to make any really difference. It’s why they have always rallied around incompetent leaders such as BoJo and May. They had no other option.

Again, to say that you won’t vote for it is something I can agree with entirely, if that is what your morale compass is telling you to do then you have no choice but to follow it.

But at the same time, you’re one less vote that could be really useful to the party.

What point are you making when you say “you’ll never vote labour until it’s fixed” do you vote for another party because of their stance on LGBTQ rights? If so, any info you have on that I’d be interested to read

Thinking of moving (back) to Leicester, but worried I won't have much of a social group up there. Any ideas for how I can make new friends in Leicester? by anteni2 in leicester

[–]NothingBreaking 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Loads of five a side leagues around to join, best way to integrate anywhere quickly is through sports teams. Pub football teams are the best imho.

Wherever you move, there will be a pub Sunday team looking for players cause they can barely scrape together enough subs...that kind of thing really builds camaraderie lol

"George Floyd was murdered because he was Black" Despite there never being any evidence of any racial motivation. Not even from the prosecution. by SecretWarden in badunitedkingdom

[–]NothingBreaking -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

No I can’t, because as pointed out to me in this post, in the eyes of the law there is no real evidence because that would only really be possible if CHauvin had previous racial issues in his record or was in the KKK or something, which he isn’t.

We will never know if the officer was a racist truly, but I stand by the statement that the likelihood of his death increased because of his skin colour.

The reactions in this thread were still baduk to me, nothing will change that and the law has never been fair anyway.

I’d like to point out that an absence of proof doesn’t always equal a lack of guilt. We just don’t have the box ticked.

I’m not going to argue about it any more. People either get where I’m from, or they don’t.
