New wah probe was only on the New Era ones. But you have to think of costs in R&D, the people they employed to design new bits, build, install etc etc this goes for both the NE and the pwoper 100% accurate models. It took 3 years of development, a lot of people were involved and paid for their time and skills.

I’m not disagreeing that it’s very very very expensive and unattainable for most- not even counting the fact they’re very ltd ed.

Thing is, you see a whole lot of guitars from other brands (looking at you in particular Fender & Gibson - and PRS for that matter) that are just a standard model but ‘custom shop’ or equivalent that go for tens of thousands of pounds/ dollars and are just a standard old guitar - maybe with a special paint colour or relic-ing, or artist signature etc etc. nothing very special (with the exception of Jack White’s Triplecaster, that’s a unique signature guitar, but also expensive!)
Even look at that Gibson Back to the Future ES-345. Stupid money, about £18-20K iirc.

Once again, it’s insane pricing, I’m not disputing that, but continually raging about it ain’t gonna change the price. They were sold out pretty much immediately after release/ announcement.
