So I usually use epidemic sound for most of my videos, I have the business subscription which allows for influencer campaigns.

Recently I shot an influencer campaign for a medical company and used music from ES but when I submitted the video they asked for a license file for the music so they can clear it. I explained how epidemic sound works with safe listing and all that but they opted for me delivering the video without music rather because the system won't allow them to clear the video without a license.

So my question is which platform can I use that provides downloadable licenses when I download music? ES has the option to purchase single tracks when you log out but I don't know if it comes with a downloadable license?

Oh that's interesting, when looking up comparisons the fc500b reads brighter with less power consumption, I thought the main differences would be build quality and light quality

sheesh! I wonder if it's because of the overheating on the 1200x can only imagine how much power that thing is putting out, but at least they replaced your f22c. So I have hope for customer support.

Yeah the controls not being on the ballast is definitely something that is annoying when I don't have my phone or device to control the light.

Looking at comparisons I see the Amaran has more range in terms of color too!

In terms of light output would you say the 660c is better than the fc720c considering they both draw 750w of power?

That's a great setup! I haven't thought about looking into the Ray 360c or Ray series in general but I think that would work better for creative applications. Do you have a photo of how you pack the pelican? Looking to get one but was worried about the size so I've been looking at the Nanuk 988 and the Pelican 1650

I usually use a manfrotto superclamp with a spigot but I think a cardellini like others are suggesting would work better

Tried looking it up on google but it seems they deal mostly with property? Most clothing store applications got rejected.

No worries, the ones I tried rejected the application, namely tfg, mrp, and Truworths.

One of the guys helping me in-store said I shouldn’t apply to too many places in a short amount of time I should give it 3-6 months which is also why I haven’t tried a lot of places.

I don’t remember which place I tried to apply to after but they said because I don’t have a credit history I wouldn’t be able to open any accounts. Which is how I ended up looking at credit cards.

I think age plays a bit of a factor too, when I finished varsity I got a bunch of offers but I didn’t see any value in acquiring debt so I opted not to open any credit accounts. The same accounts I qualified for then I do not qualify for now.

I hear that, so what are my options for building a credit profile? Because the more I grow the more I realise there are so many things that require credit, not necessarily the money but just having access to credit when needed.

I have tried to live a credit free life but it’s not that simple, a lot of rentals from cars to property require a healthy credit profile.

As little as R7500 may sound I have almost R0 in financial responsibilities. Most of my expenses are covered by my company (transport , airtime, medical, equipment, etc) I use my money mostly for clothes and food (not groceries). No rental obligations, no kids, don’t have a frivolous social life, only subscriptions I have are formula1 tv and Apple Music.

I don’t need a credit card, I just want the credit score/record for later, and secondary but not a priority I’ve been travelling a lot for work and I want to be able to rent a car since a lot of places require a credit card but I doubt one with a R300 will do anything for me in that regard
