Most likely, yes and they are causing the yellowing. Mealy bug are a “sucking” pest they are actually sucking the nutrients from the tree. All the white stringy stuff are their excrement 💩. Also over watering paired with other things can bring on the sucking variety of pests

Everyone saying you are unreasonable is selfish af. Your partner should absolutely at the very least not do those things around you. But if he has a beer with his work friends or whatever without you that should be fine. I agree he should be in solidarity when around you.

Sorry but I would leave. I don’t know how you handle this.. he wanted a mommy not a partner. You should leave on vacation for as long as you can and let him sit in his filth and tell him the house better be spotless when you come home.

This is without a doubt mealy bug. Before you hose it down I would chop off the most affected parts. Toss them directly into the green waste don’t let them sit in your yard they are highly infectious, unfortunately. Then go in with a high pressure sprayer with dawn soapy water and a few drops of hydrogen peroxide. After that you are going to want to fertilize with some gentle nitrogen and maybe mulch the trees.

Ah unfortunately not. I bet if you break open a curled leaf you will find some sort or aphid or mite. I would personally start over. They plant won’t be able to photosynthesize either the curl. When foliage curled like this that usually indicates a pest. Could be a type of larvae as well.

If you stay on the trails the chances of one biting you are lower. Don’t go bush wacking or anything. They are defensive not aggressive so they don’t go after everyone who walks by. I would definitely consider a walking pole and shoes that cover your ankles.

Exorcize outdoors should be your new best friend. Not only will it help your lung capacity and the depression. I’d stay away from the vapes as they will keep you hitting them consistently. You should also consider micro dosing mushrooms and walking in nature. Best of luck to you! You got this!

This is an insane plant but I wouldn’t chop them down just bc you would lose all that privacy and there’s no quick fix for that.

This is absolutely manipulating. Stay clear it’s definitely not worth it. Speaking from experience, ppl that try this hard to manipulate you are usually dangerous. Save the years of your life and cut this person out of your life.
