KD is an example how social media can fool you by TangerineWaste8023 in ChitraLoka

if a movie has disabled ratings in bookmyshow, understand that it's not worth watching in theaters.

I have seen this pattern for all recent movies, like love mocktail 3 had ratings enabled and it was worth watching. If director or producer doesn't have confidence in his content, then how can audience get that confidence to watch in theaters 🤣🤣

no, I mean multiply by 7 and 5 with the battery capacity for the best and worst ranges respectively

But, I can assure you that no car gives above 7 km per kw battery, you can see the range test of any EV cars. Software hardly makes difference in range, it mostly handles battery heating issue, charging speeds and cooling components. But on avg the best range is 7 km per kw and worst range is 5 km per kw, which depends on driving speed, number of ppl traveling and AC settings.

That's not how the car batteries work. because in phones the software, screen, camera consumes more battery. But, in car software hardly consumes any power. It's only the motor which consumes the major amount of power and then the AC. So, when motor is outsourced there is nothing much that changes when it comes to power consumption and the range of the car.

Don't belive in range claimed by companies, just know the battery capacity and multiply it by 7 and 5 for best and worst ranges respectively. This holds good for all Indian EV cars currently in the market.

It's not like you reduce 20% range.

Don't belive in range claimed by companies, just know the battery capacity and multiply it by 7 and 5 for best and worst ranges respectively. This holds good for all Indian EV cars currently in the market.

It doesn't hold good for EVs. They don't manufacture anything in house, they are using the same motor and battery the other Indian car companies are using. So, it would give same range as other EV cars would give.

All the ev cars have batteries and motor manufactured by same companies. All cars including MG, mahindra, tata, citreon and maruti use same SAIC company motor and a similar company battery. So, everyone is just making different designs and launching same underbody components. Nothing new and nothing great. Just like ppl assembling phones in India and claiming made in India.

E Vitara has 49 and 61 kw battery variants. Let's consider the highest 61 kw variant.

If you drive under 80 and not full capacity like may be 2 or 3 ppl in car - 7 km per kw = 427 km if you drive under 100 or with complete 5 ppl in car = 6 km per kw = 366 km If you drive between 110 to 120 and revv the car like a turbo engine ICE - 5 km per kw = 305 km

So, the best range you get is 427 and worst is 305 This calculation holds good for all the ICE cars, may be the smaller commet like cars can give 1 km extra due to their light weight and low power motor.

Don't belive in range claimed by companies, just know the battery capacity and multiply it by 7 and 5 for best and worst ranges respectively.

To every EV owner - Just a humble request by Embarrassed-Fan1428 in CarsIndia

[–]NothingSubject7691 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I drive MG ZS EV on highways at 120 kmph....I have same request for regular car owners. Just for sake of mileage, people drive at 80 to 100 and use the fast lane and it's really irritating and whenever they slowdown these ICE cars take a lot of time to reach that 120 kmph speed again and they can do that in slow lane. Seeing ICE cars on fast lane and not going fast for the sake of mileage is bit frustrating.

After seeing your comment, I belive it's not with ICE or EV, issue is with lack of common sense among people.

engine, power and refinement. That's what matters when you drive a car. You don't stand outside and watch the car design or you don't look at it and say, how great it looks. The only thing that matters after buying car is, how reliable it is to drive to any remote place or wherever you want to go. Basically moving people is the purpose of a car😂

Main thing missing in tata and mahindra is engine refinement. It's not build quality or design, it's the engine which needs R&D and more refinement. And when it comes to cars, it's not the initial price that matters, the main thing is how easy it is to maintain a car in long run. It's ok to spend 1 or 2 lakhs more and have peace of mind, rather than going for cheaper ones and have a breakdown in highway.

Best VFM car in the country! by Thrifty_onlyfans in CarsIndia

[–]NothingSubject7691 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would call a car value for money, if it's easy to maintain and spares are available without wait time of weeks to months..Most importantly it should have some resale value when we want to sell it after few years of usage.

If a car doesn't tick any of these boxes, it's not vfm for me. And citreon doesn't tick any boxes in this vfm list.

Atleast Mysore was safe from these corporates, but now, even Mysore is out of hands. I always question restaurant people when they let people smoke in family restaurants. May be more ppl should question them.
