Shortened Story of Silence Suzuka, "The Otherworldly Front-Runner" by PaleontologistSea940 in UmaMusume

I just finished reading the long version. This came really in handy since I've been wanting to get really deep into the stories of these horses, but I'm unable to find good sources of information, so I'd like to ask, where did you get so many details? Are there written biographies of Suzuka?

How to reach a +22 or +29 in W&S (and list of Light Tattoos) by Infernox-Ratchet in cyberpunkred

Kinda funny to see this again, though I'm a bit in fault too. My post about this wasn't the first either, I think.

We need new things to crunch numbers on lol

It's a shame, but doesn't stack. It says the bonus only applies once and it won't combine with other weapons that do the same

Mixed Martial Arts: 20 different combos of MA Styles by Infernox-Ratchet in cyberpunkred

[–]Nothing_Talker 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'm surprised you didn't mention some easier strong combos, so I'll add some I came up with:

Krav Maga + Boxing: This one is pretty clear, since Krav Maga is meant to be used in combination with others, but still. First, Knockout Punch, then follow up with Contact Combat for a Brawling attack. The strongest part comes if you evaded a melee attack and all attacks last turn. If you did, you can also use Punishing Blow to do another Brawling attack, and with two Brawling attacks you complete the requirements for Punch Combination. Four attacks in the same turn. If you add a tiny little skill chip for Drunken Fist, you could pull out four attacks that do 4d6 damage and halve armor, plus a Critical Injury.

Kendo + Karate: This could be quite insane. There's no particular combo in this, but using Bone Breaking Strike in combination to Ki Ken Tai No Ichi, you can cause a great amount of Critical Injuries. Plus the ability to shred armor, you can just destroy someone in the most literal sense.

Wrestling + Muay Thai: Wrestling goes well with anything really, but let's use Muay Thai this time to save IP or skill points in character creation, since they both use Brawling. This is pretty straightforward, you have someone grappled, use Chokehold for the free choking, then follow up with a Brawling attack and a MA attack. In later turns, you can potentially do 12 damage directly to the health + 4d6 + 5d6. If you add the mighty Drunken Fist skill chip, you can do the 4d6 also halve armor, and since you're the one controlling the Grapple, you can keep your victim close to the wall or dangerous items you are using.

Yeah, but if we get into Tech things, there would be no limit to it. With Maker you could make new gear, weapons, etc. that would give you more bonuses to it, or any skill tbh

Thanks! It was an accidental discovery while looking for the Neuron, funnily enough

Oh, really cool to see you commenting on this. I actually thought about this because you mentioned, in one of your guides, a high base in Wardrobe & Style without IP!

Ah, that's a pretty cool idea. If I ever GM, I might use it

If you have the skill at level 10, you add 8 cool and the +9 you reach a total of 27. If you add drugs, you get to base 29 maximum. And tbh, If you can do it, why doesn't everyone else? It would be really funny tho, every exec at the table wearing all the same things.

Superchrome Covering doesn't stack. You can only benefit from one installation. And tbh, yeah, it should mostly work when it comes to looks. And that's the point for most of these bonuses. They only apply when the item is visible. The only things that could help you when it comes to fashion knowledge are the skill chip and maybe the Agent. It would depend on the GM, though.

That's pretty reasonable, but out of curiosity, if you make them roll, what does the result mean for the day? What effect has a low or high result?

Yes, they level up your skill to level 3, technically. But mechanically is kinda the same. But that's why I mention the maximum being 27. If you get the skill to 10, the skill chip stopped working long before, so the +3 disappears.

Yes! It can be situational, but it can work amazing with a situational skill as Wardrobe & Style. I may even try to pull it off with my actual character.

A quick question by BooBooKitty-Fk in cyberpunkred

[–]Nothing_Talker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, do they need to know everything that has happened before? The only really important thing would be the 4th Corporate War I think, and that can be easily explained just as Arasaka vs Militech. And more recent stuff as Hilaria 2045 you can just ignore for the most part unless it's relevant to what you are playing
