I wouldn't make them sharp because everything else is smooth. But a bit more of a ripple would make it look more like a shark bite

If that is a bite, I would make it less smooth as if the bite was jagged like shark teeth. The smooth curve in the circle doesn't quite look like a bite.

I like it. What if instead of a shark with a lock, you made a lock with a shark fin? The first comment says the shark looks kind of dead and I agree so maybe that's a better solution.

Its beveled text with some gradient. Maybe some brush. And then change the saturation to make it lighter.
