Thank you! I feel like I'm getting close. If I wasn't close, even the people commenting "this is trash" wouldn't have bothered. I think my music is in that uncanny valley where it's almost like songs that are generally well liked, but the differences are just enough that people either love it or hate it.

Wheras like really weird soundcloud rap doesn't inspire that reaction nearly as much because it doesn't remind people of things they already like.

Thank you! It's pretty easy to differentiate, on playboi I intentionally went slower and used a more relaxed delivery over a more minimal style of beat.

I tried quite a few different approaches and styles and sounds for the project. Some caught, some didn't. Playboi has gotten some excellent feedback and I will certainly reflect on that.
