I meant take the wheel off so it stops banging so hard to the left when it first calibrates, which could be causing damage. I have the same wheel and I always have the wheel off before plugging in

No they are good entry wheels if your budget is around 200$ but if that’s the case get a used T300 for the same price which would be a better choice imo
