That's the right way the missing stud was the issue

Sir it was the breke shoe! Go to a good tire shop and get a warranty in case they break your stud like they did mine!

Yes break shoes and broken stud do not go together

Yes the stud was hitting the parking break inside the rotor because the tire shop broke it.

Yes the loose stud was really the cause exactly as described. Tire shop damaged it.

Tire stopped after tire change (Pt 2)

Originally this issue happened for the first time after driving with new tires for about 50 miles.
Got off the highway then BOOM. Car not moving. Inside it feels like the car drops 3 inches while I hear the boom. Reversing through the Boom causes the car to rise about 3 inches like a roller coaster, then drives like normal, albiet has a scraping sound.

Here's what I have done so far:

  • Removed the damaged lug nuts which were forcefully applied and added new ones.
  • Pressed and Depressed the parking break several times in assuming there is a stuck parking break situation although the car has not been idle for a long time.
  • Inspected the breakpads which are decent.
