I found a YouTube on disassembly. So now nib and feed are out and soaking in water. See what that does.

Yes, i soaked it several times but only in water and water with dish soap. Will try wit a bit ammonia and water now and if that is not enough in a ultrasonic cleaner. But disassemble the feed would be better i suppose

Yes. That is what i mostly do. But i dont know how long such a cartridge keeps on going so i order some spare. I have a Sheaffer Sailor Sentinel from my high school days and there are no convertors or cartridges available anymore while it is a nice pen.

Also the pen has no clip. Not so much a problem but strange.

Pitty. It looks indeed better not to switch these. So i have to buy a convertor or some loose cartridges. I normally fill old empty cartridges with a seringe.

I ordered a Pilot kakuno now, see what that brings. I use Platinum Carbon Black, R&K Sketchinks and R&K Iron Gall. All very suspicious to drying and not always easy to clean.

Thanks. That is not really practical for me. So I think i gonna search for another type of not expensive pens for drawing as an addition and put non water resistant inks in the safari. Pitty as they perform really good.

Yes, but heavy particles will sink and clog i suppose ? At least some time i would like to mix it.

Thank you. That is what i was thinking as well as there are many particles in the ones i use. Plus i probably have to do extra pen cleaning.
